During my drive back from the west coast of Vancouver Island to Victoria/Sidney I stopped at Cathedral Grove, a park preserving old growth rain forest. I don't think I need to say much more than the word GREEN, my favorite colour.

I haven't stopped thinking about the ferns!

I hope you like green! No words needed.

  1. I love the rain forest pictures. Several years ago we visited the Seattle area and Bainbridge Island, WA. I'll never forget walking in the forests and seeing the fallen trees as habitats for other growth and animals. Just beautiful! Thanks for the pictures, also of Buchart Gardens.

  2. Thank you for your comment Martha. Washington State and Oregon are on my list of places I still want to see. Gosh my list seems to be getting longer all the time! There is a wonderful feeling of rebirth and eternity deep in the old growth forest!
